jb produce two terminals and three terminals CBB65 motor running capacitors, in this section, we would like to share the installation guidance on two terminals JFS-22, JFS-24 capacitors. 
Please refer to our JFS-22, JFS-24 photos as below, you will notice that JFS-22 has two terminals and each terminal with 2 metal sheets. JFS-24 also has two terminals but each terminal with 4 metal sheets. Technically, the product construction and electrical performance are the same between JFS-22 and JFS-24, except the terminal. So why there are difference on the terminal?



When using the motor capacitors, usually we need to find the match terminal contact for them, finally the capacitors will be connected with wires to for various application. 
Normally JFS-24 is more common and widely used than JFS-22. JFS-24 each terminal with 4 metal sheets, 
This is to say, you can use either of the 2 metal sheets each time and let the rest 2 metal sheets as backup or connect for other components in the application. 
So JFS-24 in some extent is replaceable for JFS-22.



Now let us see how it looks like finally when we use them in the application. This is for reference and study purpose only.

Today we would like to share a piece of capacitance testing lesson with all of our jb customers.

We received the capacitors from you and all cartons are ok, thank you.
First of all I want to thank you for the samples and gifts that you sent, I appreciate your kindness.
I checked all models of motor capacitors to see if they have the right capacity value.
The models between 10u and 80u have the right capacity, many models have 2-3% bigger capacity than rated, this is very good.
For example, 30uF has in fact 31uF.

The problem is with the models 100uF and 120uF.
100uF has in fact around 91uF; 120uF has in fact around 101uF

I would like to know why these models have such a low capacity.
I didn't expect to have such differences, I consider jb Capacitors to be a big factory with good quality.
It is important to know, I hope that next time we can find a solution to make these models with the rated capacity.

Before goods leaving our factory, we did all necessary electrical performance test & inspect, totally 3 times.
we made a JFS-15 100uF capacitor test with HF2618 instrument, a professional instrument for capacitance test.

I am very glad to tell you that we tested the motor capacitors 100u and 120u with an oscilloscope that can also measure capacitance and the result is positive, the capacitors have indeed around 100u and 120u.
There is no problem to measure capacitors less than 100u with this general multimeter 9205, but for bigger capacitors we need indeed to use a professional instrument.

My name is HF Choi I am in the UK and looking for quality JSX cap for DIY hifi.

I received the capacitors a couple weeks ago and have installed them in my DAC.

I installed the 4 JSX 1uF caps as bypass on the output electrolytic caps of the DAC (2 caps per channel, each 150uF), so the bypass was less than 1%.
Immediately on first listen I could hear that the bass was bloated and the soundstage was closed in but the treble was a bit sweeter.

I let the DAC continue to play for 50 hours after which the bass improved dramatically.  It sounded like an extra octave lower was added.
Also, the treble was becoming more tangible and fine details throughout the frequency range became audible whereas before they were not.  
Nuances now audible in the music making instruments sound more real changed the tonality of entire pieces of music.
It slowed the music down somewhat for some fast bass music but also sped up music with fast transient treble.
Nice, as this probably means there's now less signal smearing and timing issues.

I find there's now a less of a difference between redbook tracks and DSD tracks.  
Both sound smooth and detailed now but DSD more dynamic with good recorded material.
Still very enjoyable with the improvement in tonality, timing, low level detail and nuances, and improved frequency extension - and of course price is very good. I’ve used them for hundreds of hours so far.

I chose the JSX because of the small size. Compared with large and expensive Mundorf and similar grade caps, it is an easy choice. Very high price/performace ratio with the JSX.
